We will see and observe the moose all summer long, and because of this we know where their feeding areas are located as well as where they have been crossing. This part of Canada has a good population of moose in the area, and with the abundance of water and prime moose habitat, the chances are good that you will see many trophy-class moose on your Canadian moose hunting trip.

You have your choice of staying at the main lodge at Fletcher Lake or going to one of our remote outpost camps, for 7 full days of a wilderness hunting experience. When you come to Ontario to moose hunt with Fletcher Lake Lodge, you will need to meet some requirements prior to obtaining your tags. Canadian rules and regulations for moose hunting in Canada are different for residents vs. non-residents.

Black Bear hunts include:

  • Pre baiting
  • Fly-out of harvested animal
  • Meals (American plan package)
  • Boats and motors
  • Modern cabin
  • Round trip flight from Kenora Ontario

Hunting Trip Reservation Inquiries

For hunting in Canada, non-residents must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Present one of the fives types of hunting accreditation recognized in Ontario
  • Have all applicable licences, game seals and validation tags or certificates for the species being hunted
  • Comply with federal firearms regulations
  • Be the registered guest of a tourist outfitter and/or hunt with a guide, where required
  • Observe all applicable provincial and federal hunting regulations

    Beautiful Spring Weather

    Jeanne & I have been at the resort since April 1. This is a first we have stayed at the resort for ice out. Fortunatley the weather has cooperated and it has been a beautiful spring. We are gearing up for another spectacular fishing season.
