Outpost Direct Fly-In

We have two outpost camps reached only by float-plane. Wright Lake 55 air miles north of Kenora, and Babes Lake 60 miles north.

A luggage limit of 70 pounds per person is a must, so we recommend guests pack gear in duffel bags rather than suitcases. The essentials to be brought in are sleeping bags and perishable groceries.

Both lakes are located on the Sturgeon River chain. truly exciting settings for adventurous parties to live and fish in isolation. The outpost cabins have propane fridges, stoves and lights.

Our new outpost cabin at Wright Lake sleeps 6 and our brand new outpost at Babes Lake sleeps 4. For nature lovers, there is a spectacular waterfall with a 40 foot drop less than 1/2 mile from the Wright Lake cabin. Enjoy some of the best fishing Ontario's north has to offer at either location.
