Fishing in Canada at Fletcher Lake Lodge in Ontario

Few things are more relaxing than embarking on a fishing trip, especially when you’re primed to make a big catch or two. Anglers in search of a beautiful, tranquil and friendly setting should consider Fletcher Lake Lodge in Ontario, which is 50 miles north of Kenora, Ontario.

Fletcher Lake Lodge is truly a “getaway” destination, as the only way to get to our remote location is via Canadian Bushplanes. Part of what makes our area unique is that Fletcher Lake is in the Trophy Waters of Ontario, meaning we practice conservation fishing. Undoubtedly, conservation fishing has increased both the quality and quantity of our fish.

During the 2019 fishing season, our guests caught over 261 trophy Walleye, Northern and Smallmouth Bass, along with many eaters, and that doesn’t even include all the fish that were thrown back! In addition, we have two Portage Lakes north of Fletcher Lake that are filled with Muskie and Perch.

We have owned the lodge since 1982, and we have had the good fortune of forging many new friendships with guests who make an annual trek to Fletcher Lake Lodge. As well, we look forward each year to hosting new guests, and developing our own personal connection to them. Fishing Season at Fletcher Lake Lodge is almost like a reunion of old friends, which further enhances the fishing environment and makes fishing season the highlight of our year.

Our cabins can fit groups from two-twelve, and they have all that you need to make a home away from home, including a full kitchen, a stove, living area, outdoor deck and hot and cold running water. There is also a daily maid service and fresh linen and towels stored for you! Keep in mind, there is also a main eating lodge where guests can enjoy some delicious home cooked meals and interact with other anglers. Once you’re ready to go fishing, we have a dock staff close by to help with whatever you need to prepare your boat for a day of fishing.

When you come to Fletcher Lake Lodge, our top priority is always to provide you with whatever you need, and to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Simply let us know if you have any special requests, and we will take care of your needs.
